Temperature has a great influence on measurement results, the precision measurement of the workpiece must be made at 20 ℃, generally can be measured at room temperature, but the temperature of the cast iron surface plate must be consistent with the workpiece, otherwise, due to the characteristics of thermal expansion and contraction of the cast iron plate, the measurement results are not accurate. Cast iron surface plate should not be placed in the sun, because the temperature rises, size is not correct. Do not put cast iron plate near a heat source, to prevent cast iron plate occur thermal deformation and lose accuracy.
