Understand The Structure of Cast Iron Surface Plate

Cast iron plate material is generally gray cast iron HT200-300, the manufacturing process is divided into cement sand, EPC, resin mine. 

Cast iron surface plate uses the disappearance of a good permeability, flat surface smooth, not easy to produce pores and trachoma. Cast iron plate machining is rough, finishing, artificial scraping and other three steps to complete. Good cast iron plate must have a good design, flat design should be reasonable, the surface and the hoarding, ribs need be designed reasonably.

Generally larger cast iron plate height is 350mm, stiffeners is 35-40mm, the face is 50mm, hoarding is 40mm, which is the best size, so that the plate is not deformed under normal use.
